Light Therapy (Phototherapy)
Light Therapy also known as Phototherapy is not a new treatment. It has been used in the medical profession for many many years with great success. Thanks to the advances in modern technology, this treatment can now be used safely within other healthcare environments by professionally trained private practitioners. In today’s world it can be a challenge to receive immediate medical advice, or a face-to-face appointment with a GP and the waiting lists for their services can be extremely lengthy. Combine this with the fact we are living longer, it’s no surprise people are seeking out an alternative solution to their less urgent health and wellbeing needs. The Dermalux Compact Lite medical grade Light Therapy Treatment can offer this solution.
Some science behind how it works….
Phototherapy like photosynthesis converts light energy in the same way our bodies use nutrients from food. It supercharges our cell function and accelerates cell rejuvenation, encouraging the repair & recovery process. When clinically proven light wavelengths are applied to the skin, they have a beneficial impact on how we look, feel and perform.
What does the treatment involve…..
Dermalux is a non-invasive, relaxing treatment and completely pain free. Each treatment lasts up to 20 minutes with no downtime. Depending on what your health goal is, you will be under a Blue 415nm light, Red 633nm light, a combined Tri-wave light or the Near Infrared 830nm light.
How many treatments do I need….
Tailored to your specific requirements, an intensive course between 8 – 12 treatments will be recommended with each appointment being in close concession to the other. Isolated maintenance treatments can be arranged.
